The turbines will be located in the Kanagi-cho and Yasaka-cho districts of Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture. The projected yearly output is 85 million kWh. Wind Farm Hamada will be jointly operated with Green Power Investment, Mitsui and SB Energy. Construction will commence in June 2013, and the facility is expected to become operational in fiscal year ending March 2016.
